Y es que no solo podemos mencionar el éxito obtenido durante sus conciertos, porque al llegar a la ciudad le esperaba un álbum de Platino de parte de su disquera Sony, por las altas ventas de su más reciente álbum En Todo Estaré. Como si fuera poco, el diario La Tercera, publicó que “el fenómeno de los escenarios coincide con su reinado en el dial”, ya que de acuerdo a la Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor, Chayanne es el artista que más suena en las radios nacionales, y solo en julio pasado, fecha del último balance de la entidad, sus temas fueron emitidos 7838 veces, superando ampliamente a sus colegas, a quienes distancia por más de 2600 tocadas.
Como si fuera poco, Chayanne es nombrado el ‘Artista Del Año’, inmortalizando sus manos en el Paseo De Las Estrellas. El reconocimiento fué otorgado por primera vez por Movistar Arena debido al récord de haber realizado seis conciertos seguidos.
Ahora prepara maletas para su segunda visita a México durante el tour En Todo Estaré-2015 que le agenda 13 conciertos más por diferentes ciudades de la República.
Chayanne Makes Touring History At Santiago, Chile’s Movistar Arena With Six Consecutive Sold-Out Concerts
Wrapping up a monumental series of shows in Chile, the Puerto Rican singer and songwriter Chayanne returns home filled with satisfaction for what he has accomplished. “What more can one ask for…selling out six times in the same city. Honestly, the people of Chile have always given me special treatment, but now more than ever,” he noted during his stay in the capital city of Santiago.
But he’s far more than a touring powerhouse. When he arrived in Santiago, he was awarded a Platinum record bySony Music, his record company, for sales of his latest album En Todo Estaré . Hailing his popularity at radio, the Santiago newspaper La Tercera noted that “his phenomenal live success coincides with his dominance of the airwaves.” According to the Sociedad Chilena del Derecho de Autor (Chilean Copyright Society), Chayanne is the most-played artist on the country’s radio stations. From January-July 2015, the most recent month for which statistics are available, his songs were played 7,838 times, putting him over 2,600 spins ahead of the next-most-popular artist.
In addition to his success at touring, sales, and airplay, Chayanne is recognized with prestigious awards such as Artist of the Year, which he received from Santiago’s Movistar Arena for his six consecutive sold-out concerts. He was also honored with a plaque, featuring his handprints, at the arena’s Walk of Fame.
The next leg of his En Todo Estaré Tour consists of a second jaunt through Mexico, where he will perform an additional 13 concerts.
